Bullish the Cotton future runs out of steam at $83.74; currently at $83.64 per pound

Cotton has rallied $3.52, or 4.39%, to now stand at $83.64 per pound.

On the flip side, highly important Core Durable Goods Orders data from United States beat analyst expectations of 0% with a reading of -0.2%. Highly important Pending Home Sales data from United States beat analyst expectations of 0.5% with a reading of 0%.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3.

A look at other Softs also shows upside as Sugar gained 2.34% and is now trading at $25.41.

At the same time, Coffee is down to $180.85, losing $1.85, after closing at $182.7 in the preceding trading session. After ending yesterday's session at $3,017, Cocoa lost $17 and is trading around $3,000.

Trading mostly sideways for 2 months. Approximately 11 months ago, ICE Cotton reached a significant high of $146.62 but has struggled to hold onto its gains and declined 45.36% since then.
