Euro-Pound currency pair adds 8 pips or 0.12%

Euro-Pound trades at 0.86 after gaining 8 pips (0.12%).

On the flip side, highly important GDP data from Germany beat analyst expectations of 0.3 with a reading of 0.4. Germany Business Climate Index beat analyst expectations of 85 and the previous reading of 84.5 with new data of 86.3.

Meanwhile, Germany GDP released today at 07:00 UTC is better than expected at 1.2% but down from preceding data of 1.7% according to new data.

A look at other currencies also shows bullish price action as USD/JPY gained 0.53% and is currently trading at 139.32. EUR/JPY is up 0.54%. GBP/JPY is up 0.44%.

Furthermore, the market is looking at Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech set for today at 17:00 UTC. United Kingdom CFTC GBP speculative net positions is expected today at 19:30 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions scheduled to come out today at 19:30 UTC.

Having set a peak of 0.9785 around a month ago, Euro-Pound is now trading 12.2% below this level.
