Procter & Gamble closed at $146.45 Wednesday, after five straight days of gains

Investors are currently sidelined due to the Thanksgiving holiday but will return to their desks today. Looking back over the previous session Wednesday: pronounced bullish sentiment in the market helped the consumer goods corporation to make a notable 0.57% gain Wednesday, rising 83 cents and ultimately closing at $146.45.

This rally in Procter & Gamble's share price coincided with other consumer staples stocks as Diageo added 1.57% to its value, and traded at $183. Philip Morris International traded at $98.11 after closing Wednesday's trading day at $97.16 (up 0.98%). Unilever was up 0.88%.

The stock has been trending positively for about a month. Having set a significant low of $123.76 a month ago, the consumer goods corporation is trading 17.66% higher.
