A quick look at today: with a daily low of $13.61, ProShares Short QQQ closed today at $13.65, after ending yesterday at $13.6 and gaining 5 cents (0.37%).

Nevertheless, Crude Oil Inventories in United States fell short of market expectations (971,000) with a reading of 533,000, continuing the decline from the previous figure of 8.41 million.

At the same time, United States 5-Year Note Auction released today at 18:00 UTC with a figure of 3.53, while the previous figure was 3.973. United States Cushing Crude Oil Inventories released today at 15:30 UTC with a figure of 4.27 million, while the previous figure was 3.65 million.

Other markets are also showing gains as AT&T is trading around $20.42 after ending today's session at $19.16 (up 6.58% today).

Meanwhile, after ending today's session at $83.9, NextEra Energy lost $7.31 and is trading around $76.59. HDFC Bank Limited lost 6.31% today and closed at $71.44.

Also worthy of note, tomorrow at 13:30 UTC data for United States Core Durable Goods Orders will be released, with an expected decline to -0.2% from the preceding figure of 0.1%. As things stand, upcoming United States GDP data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 2.6, following on from the preceding figure of 3.2. New data is set to be published tomorrow at 13:30 UTC. United States Initial Jobless Claims projected to decline to 205,000 while previous data was 190,000; data will be released tomorrow at 13:30 UTC.

This year has been a gloomy one for ProShares Short QQQ after trading as high as $15.25 and going on to lose 8.23% of its value.
