Sony levels up 0.99% in today's session; traders eye opening bell in 3 days time

Today at a glance: after ending yesterday at $95.04, Sony Group Corporation went up to $96.63 only to drop back, yet still traded well overall and closed at $96 today.

On the flip side, following a previous reading of 0.3%, Core Durable Goods Orders in United States released today at 12:30 UTC fell short of the 0% figure expected by analysts with an actual reading of -0.2%. United States Pending Home Sales improved upon its previous reading of -5.2% with a new data release of 0%.

At the same time, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3.

A look at other technology stocks also showed bullish price action as Intel traded at $29 after closing today's trading day at $27.4 (up 5.84%). Qualcomm added 6.09% to its value, and traded at $110.35. Accenture plc Class A (Ireland) gained 4.06%, as it traded at $303.6.

The stock has been trending positively for about 2 months. The multinational electronics conglomerate is now trading 3.89% below the significant high of $98.89 it set around 8 days ago.
