Vanguard S&P 500 ETF set for weak finish today; down 0.14% to $367.22 with 33 minutes before close

As the current session draws to a close, Vanguard S&P 500 ETF remains in the $361.68 – $368.16 range after dropping 0.14%.

Highly important Crude Oil Inventories data from United States beat analyst expectations of 971,000 with a reading of 533,000.

While price action maintains a negative bias, United States 5-Year Note Auction released today at 18:00 UTC with a figure of 3.53, while the previous figure was 3.973. United States Cushing Crude Oil Inventories released today at 15:30 UTC with a figure of 4.27 million, while the previous figure was 3.65 million.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, NextEra Energy is down to $77.51, losing $6.39, after closing at $83.9 in the preceding trading session. HDFC Bank Limited closed at $67.3 (down 5.8%).

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other markets as AT&T skyrockets 6.05% to trade around $20.32.

Looking ahead, ongoing depreciation may be prolonged as tomorrow at 13:30 UTC data for United States Core Durable Goods Orders will be released, with an expected decline to -0.2% from the preceding figure of 0.1%. Vanguard S&P 500 ETF has managed to gain 5.07% so far this year despite trading at lows around $327.64 previously.
