A slow down: after three days of going up, CAC was flat Wednesday and closed at 6,703.

Uncertainty around CAC is reflected by published market data as Germany GDP improved upon its previous reading of 0.1 with a new data release of 0.4. Highly important Business Climate Index data from Germany beat analyst expectations of 85 with a reading of 86.3. Germany GDP released today at 07:00 UTC is better than expected at 1.2% but down from preceding data of 1.7% according to new data.

While CAC 40 was pretty flat Wednesday, mixed performances were seen elsewhere as Nasdaq is trading around 11,300 after ending Wednesday's session at 11,174 (up 0.99% today). S&P 500 went up by 0.59% Wednesday, and closed at 4,027.26. FTSE added 0.28% and closed around 7,466.6 Wednesday.

Data to be released today might clear up some of the market fog as Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech is scheduled for today at 17:00 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions is expected today at 19:30 UTC.

The index has been trending positively for about a month. After hitting an important low of 15.42 approximately 2 months ago, CAC has bounced back 43,400% since.
