After four days of declines, EUR/NZD is up 52 pips today

EUR/NZD rallies 52 pips (0.32%) deep into the session, trading at 1.6671.

Nevertheless, Germany GDP came out at 0.4, better than analyst estimates of 0.3 and improving upon the previous reading of 0.1. Germany Business Climate Index beat analyst expectations of 85 and the previous reading of 84.5 with new data of 86.3.

Meanwhile, data for Germany GDP released today at 07:00 UTC is better than expected with 1.2%, but worse than previous figure of 1.7%.

Other currencies are also rising as having closed the previous session at 138.59, USD/JPY is up 0.6% today to currently trade at around 139.42. EUR/JPY is up 0.52%. Having closed the previous session at 167.89, GBP/JPY is up 0.52% today to currently trade at around 168.76.

The market is looking forward to the release of new data: Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech is expected today at 17:00 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions is scheduled for today at 19:30 UTC.

As things stand, EUR/NZD is 4.94% away from a significant high of 1.7482, first set a month ago.
