After four days of declines, EUR/NZD is up 59 pips today

EUR/NZD rallies 59 pips (0.36%) deep into the session, trading at 1.6678.

Nevertheless, Germany GDP beat analyst expectations of 0.3 and the previous reading of 0.1 with new data of 0.4. Germany Business Climate Index came out at 86.3, better than analyst estimates of 85 and improving upon the previous reading of 84.5.

Meanwhile, data for Germany GDP released today at 07:00 UTC is better than expected with 1.2%, but worse than previous figure of 1.7%.

Elsewhere, other currency pairs are also gaining ground as having closed the previous session at 144.25, EUR/JPY is up 0.44% today to currently trade at around 144.88. USD/JPY increases 0.34% to trade around 139.07. Having closed the previous session at 167.89, GBP/JPY is up 0.32% today to currently trade at around 168.44.

Also worthy of note, Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech is scheduled today at 17:00 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions scheduled to come out today at 19:30 UTC.

As things stand, EUR/NZD is 4.94% away from a significant high of 1.7482, first set a month ago.
