After four days of declines, EUR/NZD is up 94 pips today

EUR/NZD trades at 1.6849 after gaining 94 pips (0.56%).

On the flip side, highly important Business Climate Index data from Germany beat analyst expectations of 90.2 with a reading of 90.2.

Meanwhile, New Zealand Consumer Price Index came out at 1.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 1.3. Data for France Jobseekers Total released today at 11:00 UTC is better than expected with 2.82 million, but worse than previous figure of 2.81 million.

Elsewhere, other currency pairs are also gaining ground as GBP/NZD is up 0.86%. GBP/CAD is up 0.64%.

While EUR/NZD is up today, these currencies are lagging behind: after ending yesterday's session at 1.3194, USD/SGD lost 63 pips and is trading around 1.313.

As things stand, EUR/NZD is 4.16% away from a significant high of 1.7482, first set 3 months ago.
