After four days of going down, Platinum is up $2.7 yesterday

Yesterday at a glance: Platinum closed at $1,029 per troy ounce yesterday after ranging between $1,024.6 and $1,040.

On the flip side, United States Core Durable Goods Orders published yesterday at 12:30 UTC came out at -0.2%, falling short of the 0% projections and continuing its decline from the previous 0.3% figure.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3. United States CFTC Crude Oil speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 193,100, while the previous figure was 191,500.

This rally in CME Platinum's price coincides with other Metals as Copper soars 2.33% yesterday and closed at $3.59. Silver is trading around $23.45 after ending yesterday's session at $22.91 (up 2.34% today).

Having soared to a high of $1,141.5 approximately a month ago, Platinum is now trading 10.09% lower.
