After three days of declines, Euro-Yen is up 51 pips today

Euro-Yen trades at 144.77 after gaining 51 pips (0.36%).

Nevertheless, highly important GDP data from Germany beat analyst expectations of 0.3 with a reading of 0.4. Germany Business Climate Index came out at 86.3, better than analyst estimates of 85 and improving upon the previous reading of 84.5.

Meanwhile, data for Germany GDP released today at 07:00 UTC is better than expected with 1.2%, but worse than previous figure of 1.7%.

A look at other currencies also shows bullish price action as USD/JPY is up 0.38% to 139.12. Having closed the previous session at 0.943, USD/CHF is up 0.28% today to currently trade at around 0.9456. EUR/NZD rises 0.31% to trade around 1.6671.

Furthermore, the market is looking at Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech is scheduled for today at 17:00 UTC. Japan CFTC JPY speculative net positions scheduled to come out today at 19:30 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions will be released today at 19:30 UTC.

As things stand, Euro-Yen is 2.19% away from a significant high of 147.48, first set a month ago.
