After three days of going down, CAC is up 89.91 points today

A quick look at today: CAC rose 89.91 points to close at 7,319.18 today which makes for a move of 1.24%.

Nevertheless, Germany GDP released earlier showed a marked improvement to -0.3 from the preceding data of -0.4, but fell short of the -0.1 figure forecast by a consensus of market analysts.

At the same time, Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions released today at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 173,700, while the previous figure was 187,100. France France Jobseekers Total released today at 10:00 UTC with a figure of 2.80 million, while the previous figure was 2.79 million.

Other markets are also showing gains as notably, Nasdaq rose 2.19% today and closed at 12,700. S&P 500 went up by 1.3% today, and closed at 4,205.45.

Meanwhile, Hang Seng is down to 18,747, losing 353.08 points, after ending the previous session around 19,100.

The index has been trending lower for about a month. CAC 40 hit a significant low of 15.42 around 8 months ago, but has since recovered 46,782%.
