Barclays suffers weak session with 3.3% loss; downside halted at $6.71

A quick look at Friday: during Friday's session, Barclays PLC toiled and struggled for upward momentum before closing at $6.75. By the close, the the British banking giant suffered a 25 cents or 3.3% loss.

Barclays was not the only decliner in the financials sector; HSBC Holdings dips 4.09% Friday to close at $34.49. Berkshire Hathaway lost 2.81% Friday and closed at $293.51. JP Morgan Chase closed at $125.81 (down 3.78%).

Trending downwards for around a month. The British banking giant has fallen back around 25.35% over the past a month, from a notable high of $9.35.
