Bearish Vanguard S&P 500 ETF currently $1.2 lower after trading as high as $366.96

Vanguard S&P 500 ETF is range-bound between $361.68 and $366.96 today after shedding $1.2 and closing at $367.75 yesterday.

Following a previous reading of 8.41 million, Crude Oil Inventories in United States released today at 15:30 UTC fell short of the 971,000 figure expected by analysts with an actual reading of 533,000.

Meanwhile, United States 5-Year Note Auction released today at 18:00 UTC with a figure of 3.53, while the previous figure was 3.973. United States Cushing Crude Oil Inventories released today at 15:30 UTC with a figure of 4.27 million, while the previous figure was 3.65 million.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, NextEra Energy closed at $77.86 (down 7.19%). HDFC Bank Limited is down $3.67 from the beginning of the session and now trades around $67.77.

Other assets are showing positive performances as AT&T explodes 5.87% to trade around $20.29.

With markets struggling for positive sentiment, upcoming macro data could potentially attract buyers in the market as tomorrow at 13:30 UTC data for United States Core Durable Goods Orders will be released, with an expected decline to -0.2% from the preceding figure of 0.1%. Tomorrow at 13:30 UTC data for United States GDP will be released, with an expected decline to 2.6 from the preceding figure of 3.2. As things stand, upcoming United States Initial Jobless Claims data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 205,000, following on from the preceding figure of 190,000. New data is set to be published tomorrow at 13:30 UTC.

This year has been a bright one for Vanguard S&P 500 ETF after trading as low as $327.64 and going on to appreciate by 5.07% year to date.
