Bullish sentiment helps propel WTI crude to 1.45% gain

Yesterday at a glance: Crude Oil ended Thursday at $71.83. yesterday it went up to $73.05 only to drop back, yet still managed to close at $72.87 per barrel.

On the flip side, United States Core Durable Goods Orders fell short of the 0% projections, with new data of -0.2%.

At the same time, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3. United States CFTC Crude Oil speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 193,100, while the previous figure was 191,500.

A look at other Energy also shows upside as Heating Oil moves up 1.24% yesterday and closed at $2.35. Brent Crude Oil is trading around $77.18 after ending yesterday's session at $76.26 (up 1.21% today).

Meanwhile, Natural Gas withdraws 2.34% yesterday and closed at $2.48.

West Texas crude is up 5.25% from the significant low of $68.25 it hit 24 days ago.
