Bullish the Copper future runs out of steam at $3.68; currently at $3.67 per pound

Today at a glance: Copper spiked to $3.67 per pound, gaining 8.35 cents.

On the flip side, highly important Core Durable Goods Orders data from United States beat analyst expectations of 0% with a reading of -0.2%. United States Pending Home Sales improved upon its previous reading of -5.2% with a new data release of 0%.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3.

A look at other Metals also shows upside as notably, Silver rose 2.34% today and closed at $22.91.

The commodity has been trending lower for about a month. Copper has shed 9.38% over the past three months.
