Bullish US crude oil runs out of steam at $73.05; currently at $72.87 per barrel

A quick look at yesterday: Crude Oil ended Thursday at $71.83. yesterday it went up to $73.05 only to drop back, yet still managed to close at $72.87 per barrel.

On the flip side, following a previous reading of 0.3%, Core Durable Goods Orders in United States released yesterday at 12:30 UTC fell short of the 0% figure expected by analysts with an actual reading of -0.2%.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) released yesterday at 12:30 UTC with a figure of 0.4, while the previous figure was 0.3. Fresh CFTC Crude Oil speculative net positions data from United States came out at 193,100.

This rally in WTI crude oil's price coincides with other Energy as Heating Oil is trading around $2.38 after ending yesterday's session at $2.35 (up 1.24% today). Notably, Brent Crude Oil rose 1.21% yesterday and closed at $76.26.

At the same time, Natural Gas lost 4.72% yesterday and closed at $2.31.

US crude oil hit a significant low of $68.25 around 24 days ago, but has since recovered 5.25%.
