Bullish West Texas crude runs out of steam at $73.05; currently at $72.87 per barrel

After ending the previous trading day at $71.83, Crude Oil went up to $73.05 only to drop back; still positive overall today, now trading at $72.87 per barrel.

On the flip side, highly important Core Durable Goods Orders data from United States beat analyst expectations of 0% with a reading of -0.2%. United States Pending Home Sales released earlier showed a marked improvement to 0% from the preceding data of -5.2%, but fell short of the 0.5% figure forecast by a consensus of market analysts.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) released today at 12:30 UTC with a figure of 0.4, while the previous figure was 0.3.

This rally in West Texas crude's price coincides with other Energy as Heating Oil is up 1.24%. Brent Crude Oil rises 1.21% to trade around $77.18.

At the same time, Natural Gas is down to $2.2, losing 10.9 cents, after closing at $2.31 in the preceding trading session.

After hitting an important low of $68.25 approximately 23 days ago, WTI crude oil has bounced back 5.25% since.
