CAC closed Wednesday at 6,722.17, after four straight days of gains

US equity indices are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday and resume today. Meanwhile, here is a recap of Wednesday: CAC rose 14.85 points to close at 6,722.17 Wednesday which makes for a move of 0.22%.

Uptick comes while some more positive signs for CAC 40 are out as Germany GDP beat the 0.3 projections, with 0.4. Data for Germany Business Climate Index published yesterday at 09:00 UTC came out at 86.3, beating projections of 85 and showing improvement over the preceding figure of 84.5.

Meanwhile, data from Germany concerning GDP was released today at 07:00 UTC. Newly published figures emphasized continued decline from last month's figure of 1.7% to 1.2% this month.

CAC 40 shows positive signs, other assets are also on par: Nasdaq went up by 0.99% Wednesday, and closed at 11,300. S&P 500 added 0.59% and closed around 4,003.58 Wednesday. Notably, FTSE rose 0.3% Wednesday and closed at 7,466.6.

Furthermore, the market is looking at Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech set for today at 17:00 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions will be released today at 19:30 UTC.

The index has been trending positively for about a month. CAC 40 hit a significant low of 15.42 around 2 months ago, but has since recovered 43,400%.
