Caterpillar is around $235.46 after losing 0.62%

The construction equipment, diesel and natural gas engines manufacturer is sliding down from $236.92 to $235.46, taking a 0.62% loss as it nears the end of the session.

With only 38 minutes of the current session remaining as we head towards the close on the New York Stock Exchange, Dow Jones goes down to 34,365 — a gain of 0.5%. S&P 500 trades sideways at 4,028.21. While Caterpillar is down today, the Industrials sector is up (0.672%).

Caterpillar hit a significant low of $162.44 around a month ago, but has since recovered 45.85%. So far in 2022 it has been beating the Dow Jones by 21.44%. The company has a market cap of $122.54 billion with an average daily trading volume of 3.78 million shares. Caterpillar is forecasted to generate revenues of $14.48 billion and EPS of $3.16.

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other industrials stocks as Boeing is trading at $177.97 after ending Wednesday's session at $174.85 (up 1.78%). Union Pacific is up 1.07%. Honeywell International is up 0.82% to $220.7.
