End of rally? After three days of gains, Euro-Aussie dollar is down 21 pips today

After closing at 1.6478 yesterday, EUR/AUD opened today at 1.6488, to be greeted by bearish sentiment that overshadowing today's price action. Irrespective of the bearish mood, EUR/AUD retains a distinct 1.642 to 1.6516 daily range.

Highly important Retail Sales data from Australia beat analyst expectations of 0.3% with a reading of 0%.

On the flip side, positive data for Euro-Aussie dollar released earlier when highly important GDP data from Germany beat analyst expectations of -0.1 with a reading of -0.3.

Meanwhile, Australia CFTC AUD speculative net positions released today at 20:30 UTC with a figure of -49,100, while the previous figure was -53,600.

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other currencies as GBP/NZD is up 0.52%. GBP/JPY leaps up 0.66% to trade around 173.67. Having closed the previous session at 140.05, USD/JPY is up 0.41% today to currently trade at around 140.62.

The past 3 months have been positive for Euro-Aussie dollar as it added 5.28% compared to its 3-month low of 1.4289.
