Equities traders zero in on the FTSE as it adds 24.4 points (+0.33%)

Tentatively higher from an earlier low of 7,464, FTSE is up to 7,491 today, adding 24.4 points, or 0.33%, to yesterday's closing price of 7,466.6.

Meanwhile, United Kingdom CBI Industrial Trends Orders (Nov) released yesterday at 11:00 UTC with a figure of -5, while the previous figure was -4.

The FTSE shows positive signs, other assets are also on par: having closed the previous session at 11,174, Nasdaq is up 0.99% today to currently trade at around 11,300. S&P 500 is up 0.59%.

At the same time, Hang Seng is trading around 17,574 (down 87.32 points).

Also worthy of note, United Kingdom CFTC GBP speculative net positions scheduled to come out today at 19:30 UTC.

The index has been trending positively for about a month. The FTSE hit a significant low of 6,826.2 around a month ago, but has since recovered 9.38%.
