EUR/CAD is growing its four-day winning streak and is trading at 1.3911, gaining 33 pips.

EUR/CAD trades at 1.3911 after gaining 33 pips (0.24%).

On the flip side, data for Germany GDP published today at 07:00 UTC came out at 0.4, beating projections of 0.3 and showing improvement over the preceding figure of 0.1. Highly important Business Climate Index data from Germany beat analyst expectations of 85 with a reading of 86.3.

At the same time, data for Germany GDP released today at 07:00 UTC is better than expected with 1.2%, but worse than previous figure of 1.7%.

Elsewhere, other currency pairs are also gaining ground as EUR/NZD climbs 0.42% to trade around 1.6688. EUR/AUD is up 0.36%. EUR/JPY gained 0.24% and is currently trading at 144.6.

Elsewhere, Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech is scheduled today at 17:00 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions will be released today at 19:30 UTC.

As things stand, EUR/CAD is 7.62% away from a significant low of 1.2895 first set 3 months ago.
