EUR/NZD went up 51 pips, closing at 1.7735 and building up on its four days of gains

Yesterday at a glance: generally flat but with a slight bullish bias, EUR/NZD ranged between 1.7628 and 1.7753 before closing higher at 1.7735.

At the same time, Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 173,700, while the previous figure was 187,100. Data from France concerning Jobseekers Total was released yesterday at 10:00 UTC. Newly published figures emphasized continued decline from last month's figure of 2.79 million to 2.80 million this month.

Elsewhere, other currency pairs are also gaining ground as GBP/NZD is trading around 2.0417 after ending yesterday's session at 2.0311 (up 0.52% today). GBP/JPY leaps up 0.64% yesterday and closed at 172.53. EUR/JPY is trading around 150.87 after ending yesterday's session at 150.22 (up 0.43% today).

Having set a peak of 1.8041 around a month ago, EUR/NZD is now trading 1.98% below this level.
