Euro-Yen sheds 0.61% within 140.12 to 142.22 daily range

A quick look at Friday: EUR/JPY falls 0.61% to close at 140.9 Friday.

Euro-Yen's value drop coincided with the fact that USD/JPY is down to 131.77, losing 181 pips, after ending the previous session around 133.59. After ending Friday's session at 1.7137, EUR/NZD lost 156 pips and is trading around 1.698.

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other currencies as NZD/USD is trading around 0.6295 after ending Friday's session at 0.6194 (up 1.62% today).

Furthermore, tomorrow at 07:00 UTC data for Germany Producer Price Index will be released, with an expected decline to -1.6% from the preceding figure of -1%. Euro Zone Trade Balance (Jan) is scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 UTC.

This year has been a bright one for Euro-Yen after trading as low as 128.26 and going on to appreciate by 2.43% year to date.
