Friday's slide leaves Facebook traders hoping for a bounce

Friday at a glance: during Friday's session, Meta Platforms toiled and struggled for upward momentum before closing at $195.61. By the close, the Mark Zuckerberg's brainchild suffered a $9.32 or 4.55% loss.

Facebook was not the only decliner in the communication services sector; AT&T slips 1.41% Friday to close at $18.39. Netflix lost 2.12% Friday and closed at $303.5.

On the other hand, positive performances could be seen by looking at other communication services stocks as Alphabet traded at $102.46 after closing Friday's trading day at $101.07 (up 1.38%).

Facebook hit a significant low of $88.91 around 4 months ago, but has since recovered 130.49%.
