Friday's upbeat market sentiment sees Sterling-Canadian dollar gain 0.6%

Meanwhile, USD/JPY is down to 131.8, losing 178 pips, after ending the previous session around 133.59. USD/SGD lost 0.44% Friday and closed at 1.3456. After ending Friday's session at 1.7137, EUR/NZD lost 127 pips and is trading around 1.7009.

The currency pair has been trending positively for about a month. Sterling-Canadian dollar is now trading 13.3% away from its significant low of 1.4665 first tested 5 months ago.
