Is it the end of Euro-Aussie dollar's rally? After three days of gains, it is down by 0.15% today

After closing at 1.6478 yesterday, EUR/AUD opened today at 1.6484, to be greeted by bearish sentiment that overshadowing today's price action. Irrespective of the bearish mood, EUR/AUD retains a distinct 1.642 to 1.6516 daily range.

Highly important Retail Sales data from Australia beat analyst expectations of 0.3% with a reading of 0%.

On the flip side, Germany GDP released earlier showed a marked improvement to -0.3 from the preceding data of -0.4, but fell short of the -0.1 figure forecast by a consensus of market analysts.

While price action maintains a negative bias, Australia CFTC AUD speculative net positions released today at 20:30 UTC with a figure of -49,100, while the previous figure was -53,600.

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other currencies as GBP/JPY jumps 0.66% to trade around 173.67. Having closed the previous session at 2.0311, GBP/NZD is up 0.47% today to currently trade at around 2.0406. USD/JPY gained 0.41% and is now trading at 140.62.

Euro-Aussie dollar now trading 5.28% above its 3-month low of 1.4289.
