Kicking off the session at 150.22, Euro-Yen currency pair peaks at 150.93

After ending the previous trading day at 150.22, EUR/JPY went up to 150.93 only to drop back; still positive overall today, now trading at 150.87.

This move comes while some more positive signs for Euro-Yen are out as highly important GDP data from Germany beat analyst expectations of -0.1 with a reading of -0.3.

Meanwhile, Japan CFTC JPY speculative net positions released today at 20:30 UTC with a figure of -80,700, while the previous figure was -64,800. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions released today at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 173,700, while the previous figure was 187,100.

Elsewhere, other currency pairs are also gaining ground as GBP/JPY leaps up 0.66% to trade around 173.67. GBP/NZD is up 0.47% to 2.0406. Having closed the previous session at 140.05, USD/JPY is up 0.41% today to currently trade at around 140.62.

Euro-Yen has managed to gain 7.66% so far this year despite trading at lows around 135.1 previously.
