A quick look at today: ProShares Short QQQ closed today at $13.65 (with a daily low of $13.61) after ending yesterday at $13.6 and gaining 0.37%.

On the flip side, United States Crude Oil Inventories fell short of the 971,000 projections, with new data of 533,000.

Meanwhile, United States 5-Year Note Auction released today at 18:00 UTC with a figure of 3.53, while the previous figure was 3.973. Fresh Cushing Crude Oil Inventories data from United States came out at 4.27 million.

Other markets are also showing gains as AT&T shoots up 6.58% today and closed at $19.16.

Meanwhile, NextEra Energy lost 8.71% today and closed at $83.9. HDFC Bank Limited dips 6.31% today and closed at $71.44.

Furthermore, the market is looking at United States Core Durable Goods Orders projected to come out at -0.2% — worse than previous data of 0.1%; data will be released tomorrow at 13:30 UTC. United States GDP expected to decline to 2.6 while its preceding data was 3.2, data will be available tomorrow at 13:30 UTC. Tomorrow at 13:30 UTC data for United States Initial Jobless Claims will be released, with an expected decline to 205,000 from the preceding figure of 190,000.

So far this year, ProShares Short QQQ has declined 8.23% while touching highs around $15.25 earlier this year.
