Risk-off mood drags Brent crude 2.9% lower

A quick look at Friday: Brent Crude Oil ended Friday at $72.53 per barrel following from closing Thursday at $74.7. Overall, this represents a loss of $2.17 or 2.9%.

Approximately 9 months ago, Brent crude oil reached a significant high of $123.6 but has struggled to hold onto its gains and declined 39.56% since then.

Brent crude oil's value drop coincided with the fact that Natural Gas lost 6.52% Friday and closed at $2.51. Crude Oil is down to $66.34, losing $2, after ending the previous session around $68.35.

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other Energy markets as Heating Oil is trading around $2.68 after ending Friday's session at $2.64 (up 1.35% today).
