Risk-off mood drags Facebook 4.55% lower

Friday at a glance: during Friday's session, Meta Platforms toiled and struggled for upward momentum before closing at $195.61. By the close, the the social media colossus suffered a $9.32 or 4.55% loss.

Meta was not the only decliner in the communication services sector; AT&T lost 1.41% Friday and closed at $18.13. Netflix closed at $303.5 (down 2.12%).

On the other hand, positive performances could be seen by looking at other communication services stocks as Alphabet was up 1.38%.

Facebook hit a significant low of $88.91 around 4 months ago, but has since recovered 130.49%.
