Risk-off mood drags NYMEX Gas 6.52% lower

Friday at a glance: Natural Gas ended Friday at $2.35 per MMBtu following from closing Thursday at $2.51. Overall, this represents a loss of 16.4 cents or 6.52%.

NYMEX Natural Gas's value drop coincided with the fact that Brent Crude Oil lost 2.9% Friday and closed at $74.7. After ending Friday's session at $68.35, Crude Oil lost $2 and is trading around $66.34.

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other Energy markets as Heating Oil added 1.35% and closed around $2.64 Friday.

Natural Gas is now trading 63.16% below its 3-month high of $9.68.
