Risk-off mood drags US crude oil 2.94% lower

A quick look at Friday: Crude Oil ended Friday at $66.34 per barrel following from closing Thursday at $68.35. Overall, this represents a loss of $2 or 2.94%.

Over the past 9 months, US crude oil has retreated 44.02% from a noteworthy peak of $122.09.

WTI crude's value drop coincided with the fact that Natural Gas lost 6.52% Friday and closed at $2.51. After ending Friday's session at $74.7, Brent Crude Oil lost $2.17 and is trading around $72.53.

Though West Texas crude has been dropping, other Energy have been performing better: Heating Oil goes up 1.35% Friday and closed at $2.64.
