Risk-off mood drags West Texas crude 2.94% lower

Friday at a glance: Crude Oil slides down 2.94% to close at $66.34 per barrel Friday.

US crude oil's value drop coincided with the fact that Natural Gas is down to $2.35, losing 16.4 cents, after ending the previous session around $2.51. Brent Crude Oil lost 2.9% Friday and closed at $74.7.

Though US crude oil has been dropping, other Energy have been performing better: Heating Oil went up by 1.35% Friday, and closed at $2.68.

Approximately 9 months ago, WTI crude oil reached a significant high of $122.09 but has struggled to hold onto its gains and declined 44.02% since then.
