Risk-on mood helps IAU post 0.44% gain yesterday

Yesterday at a glance: iShares Gold Trust spiked to $37 yesterday and consolidated before initiating a fresh rally to $36.92. This comes following Thursday's session in which it closed at $36.76.

On the flip side, United States Core Durable Goods Orders published yesterday at 12:30 UTC came out at -0.2%, falling short of the 0% projections and continuing its decline from the previous 0.3% figure.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3. United States CFTC Crude Oil speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 193,100, while the previous figure was 191,500.

Other markets are also showing gains as Costco is trading around $507.26 after ending yesterday's session at $486.55 (up 4.26% today). Intel leaps up 5.84% yesterday and closed at $27.4. Netflix soars 5.54% yesterday and closed at $359.

23 days ago iShares Gold Trust reached a significant high of $38.86 but has consequently lost 5.4% since then.
