Risk-on mood pushes the Dow 1% higher

A quick look at yesterday: after finishing Thursday at 32,765, Dow Jones went up to 33,162 before paring its losses and closing at 33,100.

The Dow Jones hit a significant low of 28,726 around 7 months ago, but has since recovered 14.06%.

Other markets are also showing gains as Nasdaq is trading around 12,976 after ending yesterday's session at 12,700 (up 2.19% today). S&P 500 rises 1.3% yesterday and closed at 4,151.28.

At the same time, Hang Seng lost 1.93% yesterday and closed at 19,100.
