Risk-on mood pushes the FTSE 0.27% higher

A quick look at today: after closing at 7,466.6 on yesterday, FTSE rallied as high as 7,497.23 but ended the day at 7,486.67.

Meanwhile, United Kingdom CBI Industrial Trends Orders (Nov) came out at -5, while a consensus of analysts was expecting -8.

The FTSE shows positive signs, other assets are also on par: Dow Jones is trading around 34,360 after ending today's session at 34,200 (up 0.49% today). ASX 200 moves up 0.24% today and closed at 7,241.8.

Meanwhile, Hang Seng is down to 17,574, losing 87.32 points, after ending the previous session around 17,661.

The market is looking forward to the release of new data: United Kingdom CFTC GBP speculative net positions will be released today at 19:30 UTC.

The index has been trending positively for about a month. The FTSE hit a significant low of 6,826.2 around a month ago, but has since recovered 9.38%.
