Risk-on mood pushes the FTSE 0.74% higher

Today at a glance: the FTSE went up to 7,627.2 today, gaining 0.74%.

The index has been trending lower for about a month.

Other markets are also showing gains as Nasdaq is trading around 12,976 after ending today's session at 12,700 (up 2.19% today). S&P 500 improves 1.3% today and closed at 4,151.28.

At the same time, Hang Seng falls 1.93% today and closed at 19,100.
