Risk-on mood pushes the Nikkei 0.37% higher

Other markets are also showing gains as Nasdaq added 2.19% and closed around 12,700 yesterday. Notably, S&P 500 rose 1.3% yesterday and closed at 4,151.28.

Meanwhile, Hang Seng falls 1.93% yesterday and closed at 19,100.

The index has been trending positively for about a month. The Nikkei hit a significant low of 15.42 around 8 months ago, but has since recovered 199,648%.
