Risk-on mood pushes the S&P 1.3% higher

A quick look at yesterday: the S&P 500 went up to 4,205.45 yesterday, gaining 1.3%.

On the flip side, United States Core Durable Goods Orders fell short of the 0% projections, with new data of -0.2%.

At the same time, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) released yesterday at 12:30 UTC with a figure of 0.4, while the previous figure was 0.3. United States CFTC Crude Oil speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 193,100, while the previous figure was 191,500.

The S&P shows positive signs, other assets are also on par: Nasdaq went up by 2.19% yesterday, and closed at 12,976. CAC added 1.24% and closed around 7,229.27 yesterday.

Meanwhile, after ending yesterday's session at 19,100, Hang Seng lost 353.08 points and is trading around 18,747.

The index has been trending positively for about 2 months. The S&P hit a significant low of 3,577 around 7 months ago, but has since recovered 16.05%.
