Risk-on sentiment allowed PSQ to post 0.37% gain today

A quick look at today: ProShares Short QQQ closed today at $13.65 (with a daily low of $13.61) after ending yesterday at $13.6 and gaining 0.37%.

On the flip side, data from United States concerning Crude Oil Inventories was released today at 15:30 UTC. Newly published figures emphasized continued decline from last month's figure of 8.41 million to 533,000 this month.

Meanwhile, United States 5-Year Note Auction released today at 18:00 UTC with a figure of 3.53, while the previous figure was 3.973. United States Cushing Crude Oil Inventories released today at 15:30 UTC with a figure of 4.27 million, while the previous figure was 3.65 million.

Other markets are also showing gains as notably, AT&T rose 6.58% today and closed at $19.16.

At the same time, NextEra Energy lost 8.71% today and closed at $83.9. HDFC Bank Limited dips 6.31% today and closed at $71.44.

Also worthy of note, United States Core Durable Goods Orders projected to come out at -0.2% — worse than previous data of 0.1%; data will be released tomorrow at 13:30 UTC. Projections for United States GDP are set for a continuation of decline with 2.6 while previous data was 3.2; data will be released tomorrow at 13:30 UTC. As things stand, upcoming United States Initial Jobless Claims data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 205,000, following on from the preceding figure of 190,000. New data is set to be published tomorrow at 13:30 UTC.

This year has been a gloomy one for ProShares Short QQQ after trading as high as $15.25 and going on to lose 8.23% of its value.
