Slow down? Following a three day winning streak, CAC 40 faltered Wednesday; now hovering around 6,705

US equity indices are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday and resume today. Meanwhile, here is a recap of Wednesday: CAC moves 0.04% to close at 6,705 Wednesday.

Uncertainty around CAC is reflected by published market data as Germany GDP beat the 0.3 projections, with 0.4. Highly important Business Climate Index data from Germany beat analyst expectations of 85 with a reading of 86.3. Data for Germany GDP released today at 07:00 UTC is better than expected with 1.2%, but worse than previous figure of 1.7%.

While CAC was pretty flat Wednesday, mixed performances were seen elsewhere as Nasdaq increases 0.99% Wednesday and closed at 11,174. S&P 500 went up by 0.59% Wednesday, and closed at 4,027.26. Hang Seng draws back 0.49% Wednesday and closed at 17,661.

Data to be released today might clear up some of the market fog as Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech is scheduled today at 17:00 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions scheduled to come out today at 19:30 UTC.
