Slow down? Following a three day winning streak, CAC 40 faltered Wednesday; now hovering around 6,717

Trading is currently halted for Thanksgiving but will resume today. Meanwhile, here is a recap of Wednesday: CAC moves 0.14% to close at 6,717 Wednesday.

Uncertainty around CAC is reflected by published market data as Germany GDP beat the 0.3 projections, with 0.4. Germany Business Climate Index came out at 86.3, better than analyst estimates of 85 and improving upon the previous reading of 84.5. Data from Germany concerning GDP was released today at 07:00 UTC. Newly published figures emphasized continued decline from last month's figure of 1.7% to 1.2% this month.

While CAC 40 was pretty flat Wednesday, mixed performances were seen elsewhere as notably, Nasdaq rose 0.99% Wednesday and closed at 11,174. S&P 500 is trading around 4,027.26 after ending Wednesday's session at 4,003.58 (up 0.59% today). FTSE is trading around 7,485.51 after ending Wednesday's session at 7,466.6 (up 0.25% today).
