Solid session for Microsoft generates 1.17% gain Friday

A quick look at Friday: Microsoft rose $3.23 to close at $279.43 Friday which makes for a move of 1.17%.

This rally in Microsoft's share price coincided with other technology stocks as Adobe traded at $358.14 after closing Friday's trading day at $353.29 (up 1.37%).

While Microsoft was bullish Friday, the following technology stocks underperformed: Accenture plc Class A (Ireland) lost 1.15% Friday and closed at $250. Intel stumbles 1.23% Friday to close at $30.18.

On a negative trend for around a month. Microsoft hit a significant low of $214.25 around 4 months ago, but has since recovered 28.91%.
