The DAX closed yesterday at 14,540, after four straight days of gains

Yesterday at a glance: DAX rose 111.97 points to close at 14,540 yesterday which makes for a move of 0.78%.

Uptick comes while some more positive signs for the DAX are out as highly important GDP data from Germany beat analyst expectations of 0.3 with a reading of 0.4. Germany Business Climate Index improved upon its previous reading of 84.5 with a new data release of 86.3.

At the same time, Germany GDP beat the 1.1% projections, with 1.2%.

Other markets are also showing gains as Nasdaq is trading around 11,300 after ending yesterday's session at 11,174 (up 0.99% today). Notably, S&P 500 rose 0.59% yesterday and closed at 4,003.58. CAC is trading around 6,707.32 after ending yesterday's session at 6,679 (up 0.42% today).

Also worthy of note, Euro Zone ECB's De Guindos speech scheduled to come out today at 17:00 UTC. Euro Zone ECB's Supervisory Board Member Jochnick speech is scheduled for today at 08:50 UTC. Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions is expected today at 19:30 UTC.

The index has been trending positively for about a month. Having set a significant high of 16,272 2 months ago, the DAX is trading 93,464% lower.
