The Dow closed Friday at 31,862 after six straight days of drops

Friday at a glance: overall, Dow Jones shed around 384.57 points or 1.19% and ended Friday's session at 31,862.

The index has been trending lower for about a month. The Dow Jones has shed 6.63% over the past three months.
