The Dow Jones closed Friday at 31,862 after six straight days of drops

A quick look at Friday: the Dow Jones retained its composure around the 31,862 level after dropping 1.19%.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, after ending Friday's session at 7,025.72, CAC lost 100.32 points and is trading around 6,925.4. DAX lost 1.33% Friday and closed at 14,967. FTSE lost 1% Friday and closed at 7,410.

The index has been trending lower for about a month. The Dow Jones has shed 6.63% over the past three months.
