  • Oatly was the biggest decliner after giving up 8.3% today Bright Health had a negative day today (down 6.38%).

Ahead of tomorrow's session: markets did not have a clear cut direction — after dropping 0.18%, Nasdaq closed at 11,300. S&P 500 closed at 4,016.22 after a flat day.

US markets are now currently closed and set to reopen tomorrow; meanwhile, Asia-Pacific markets ended a mixed session today whilst KOSPI Composite Index added 1.39% to trade at 2,428.57.

This limbo state is reflected by market data published as United States Crude Oil Inventories published today at 15:30 UTC came out at 533,000, falling short of the 971,000 projections and continuing its decline from the previous 8.41 million figure. United States 5-Year Note Auction released today at 18:00 UTC with a figure of 3.53, while the previous figure was 3.973. United States Cushing Crude Oil Inventories released today at 15:30 UTC with a figure of 4.27 million, while the previous figure was 3.65 million.

Data to be released tomorrow might clear up some of the market fog as projections for United States Core Durable Goods Orders are set for a continuation of decline with -0.2% while previous data was 0.1%; data will be released tomorrow at 13:30 UTC. United States Pending Home Sales is projected to outperform its last figure with -0.9%. It previously stood at -4%; data will be released Friday. United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Dec) scheduled to come out Friday.

While markets were generally sideways today, these assets pulled ahead as Outbrain up 3.95% trading at $five.

With price action remaining lacklustre today some assets finished the session lower as Oatly lost 8.3% today before closing at $2.21. Bright Health had a negative day today (down 6.38%).
